Thanks to this certificate we can offer a 100% guarantee about the amount of recycled material your carrier bags contain. No empty claims but a valid system that is subject to a thorough annual audit by Vinçotte. This certificate can be obtained for any type of customer. Spar, Aveve, Dierendonck, de Boekenbeurs and many other customers have already taken the step.

GOTS
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is an international label that sets requirements for both the production of the fibers and their further processing. The requirements for organic natural fiber cultivation are laid down in European rules. No synthetic plant protection products are used in cultivation, no genetically modified organisms and no artificial fertilizers. Cotton, wool, silk, flax and hemp can be grown organically; cotton is most often grown organically.
There are no requirements for allowing/prohibiting the cultivation of cotton in water-scarce areas, but a water management plan must be in place. GOTS also has environmental requirements for processing the fiber into finished product. Requirements regarding working conditions and fair wages in the production phase, not in the farming phase. There are also environmental requirements for packaging and supplies.
